iMaGiNaTiOn

So I just got off the phone with my little sister, and the main part of our conversation was about kids these days!... How there is no imagination anymore. Everything seems to be electronic now, the cool new things are all about the latest and greatest computer, video game, ipod, cell phone... the list will go on and on... Whatever happened to sticks being guns, or having to jump from a tree stump to a big rock, because the ground outside is lava!? ... Our children are so lost in materialistic things now! I want my boys to find pieces of the earth outside that they can play with for hours, as simple as a feather, a rock, or DIRT... I want to be the one to teach them how to read, not an electronic book... I want to spend every precious moment with them, instead of memories of them in front of the TV or the video game. I love the idea of us having dinner at the table as a family, hearing about their day... or us having a family night once a week, either at home, or going out doing something FUN as a family... I think I am going to start with CRAFT DAY... Once a week, turning off the TV, just the boys and I. Playing in playdough or glitter, or getting dirty in the back yard... Making messes and having fun doing it! Those are memories I want, and want them to have!!

My BOYS

Looking back in my iphoto yesterday made me realize how FAST time is flying by! I can't believe it has already been TWO YEARS! It seems like I just brought Izaiah home from the hospital!
Izaiah Daniel Jensen (2 months)
Ezekiel Daniel Jensen (1 Day)

Reality hits when I look down and see Ezekiel at my feet, staring at me with those big brown eyes! ... Then I think WOW, he is just about to turn ONE! Where did the time go?!
Izaiah (2 yrs)
                                                           Ezekiel (10 mos)

Never did I think I would have two sweet baby boys! I am someones everything, and that is an amazing feeling.
